Divvent

Sign up and your free trial

Start a free trial with your company's name and your email address, prove the address, and set up your account in a few minutes.

Signing up makes a new company on Divvent, with you as its owner, and starts a 14-day free trial. You don't need a card.

Sign-up is for starting a new company. If a colleague already uses Divvent and you want to join their company, ask them to invite you instead: people are only ever added to an existing company by invitation. See People and roles.

Start a free trial

  1. Go to the sign-in page and choose Start a free trial.
  2. Fill in Your company and Your email. You will be the owner, and you invite colleagues from inside the account later.
  3. Complete the check that you are a person, then press Send me a link.

The page then says Check your email. It says the same thing whether or not that address already has an account, so nobody can use the form to find out who uses Divvent. If the address already has an account, the email tells you to sign in instead.

If the page says Too many sign-ups have come from here recently, wait an hour and try again.

The link works once, and for one day. When you open it, you see Choose a password, with your address already filled in. You can't change the address: the account is made for the address the link was sent to.

  1. Fill in Your name, then a Password and Password again. The password must be at least 12 characters. A phrase is easier to remember than a pattern.
  2. Under Where your data is stored, choose where your applications' data is kept. European Union — guaranteed is chosen for you and is the recommended choice for UK and European companies. The other places are preferences, not guarantees, and each says so. You make this choice once: you can't change it later in a setting. If you ever need your company's data moved, ask us.
  3. Under Agreement, read the documents and tick the box. By ticking it, you accept the terms of service and the data processing agreement on your company's behalf, and confirm you have read the privacy policy. See Terms, privacy and your data processing agreement.
  4. Press Create the account.

If a document changes while the page is open, you're asked to read the new version and accept it again. Nothing is made until you do.

If the link has been used or a day has passed, the page says This link is no longer valid. Choose Start again to be sent a new one.

Now and then the page may say that free trials are full for the moment. Nothing is made, and your link still works for the rest of the day, so try it again later.

Set up your second factor, then your application

Next, you're taken to Your sign-in to add a passkey or an authenticator app. Nothing else opens until you do: every Divvent account needs a second factor.

Once it's on, you go straight to Create your application. See Create your first application.

What the free trial includes

The free trial
How long14 days from sign-up
ApplicationsOne
Test copiesNone
AIAbout £5 of AI in total
RecordsAbout 10,000 across your application
Storage1 GB

On the free trial, your application's web address name is your company's short name. What you call the application can be anything.

If a question to the AI would take you past the free trial's AI allowance, it isn't sent and nothing is spent. You can still make changes by hand, and choosing a plan lets you keep asking.

While the free trial runs, Needs you shows how many days are left, with a Choose a plan button. This shows to owners and finance approvers.

When the free trial ends

We email the owners seven days before the end, and again the day before.

If you choose a plan before the end, nothing stops. Your application keeps running, and its data stays exactly as it is. See Plans and billing.

If you don't, your account becomes read-only on the day the free trial ends.

What read-only means

If nothing changes, the account's applications and their data are deleted 30 days after it became read-only. We email the owners a week before. Deleting cannot be undone. Choose a plan before then and everything comes back exactly as it was.
